How Nox proves an application was really submitted

Plenty of tools claim to auto-apply to jobs. Nox submits on the employer's real career page and then forwards you the employer's own confirmation email as proof. Here is the exact end-to-end protocol, followed by redacted real confirmations and the honest limits of what a confirmation does and does not prove.

The end-to-end flow

    Match

    Nox scores open roles against your stated preferences and surfaces the best fits. You decide which ones it applies to. Nothing is submitted without your approval.

    Tailor

    For each approved role, Nox writes a CV variant and a cover letter tailored to that specific job in your voice. You review the materials before submission.

    Submit on the employer's career page

    Nox opens the employer's real career page hosted by Greenhouse or Recruitee and submits the application through the same form a person would fill in. It does not post to a third-party job board.

    The employer's system confirms

    When the application lands, the employer's applicant tracking system sends an automated confirmation email to the address on the application. This email comes from the employer's own system, not from Nox.

    Nox forwards the proof

    Nox forwards that confirmation email to you, so you hold the employer's own receipt that the application was received. The specimens below are real examples of those confirmations, with identifying details removed.

Recruitee delivers confirmations from the employer's own Recruitee subdomain. This specimen shows the redacted subject line of a real confirmation. The message body was not retained in our logs.

What a confirmation does and does not prove

  • Nox submits only on Greenhouse and Recruitee career pages. Other platforms are not covered by this proof.
  • A confirmation email proves the employer's system received the application. It does not prove that a human has reviewed it, that you will get an interview, or that you will be hired.
  • Nox makes no guarantee about outcomes. What it guarantees is the mechanics: a real submission on the employer's page, and the employer's own receipt forwarded to you.
  • Not every employer sends a confirmation email. When one is sent, Nox forwards it. When one is not, the application is still submitted, but there is no employer receipt to forward.
